EcoLasticTM System


EcoLastic is a two-component waterproofing coating barrier consisting of acrylic copolymer emulsion liquid ingredients as the main raw material. The low thermal conductivity of aluminosilicate ceramic powders include spherical particles in powdered inorganic and organic composites.

Installation

  • In comparison to current urethane systems, this has better adhesion in wet conditions and permeability to vapor build up. (Humidity 20%).

  • CLEANING OF SURFACE
  • Use wire-brush, or grinding, to clean surface of any pollutants, Use pressure washer to wash down the surface.
  • LOWER WATERPROOFING - ECOCRETE76 MIXING
  • Create a slurry of EcoCrete76 and water, The ratio of EcoCrete76 : water : Cement is 1 : 1 : 3.
  • APPLICATION OF LOWER WATERPROOFING OF ECOCRETE76
  • 1 ~ 2 layers of the mixed EcoCrete76 is applied to surface. (1.0kg/m2) drying time: 2 ~ 4 hours
  • MIXING THE ECOLASTIC
    • 5kg of liquid B and 2/3 of powder A is placed in to a mixer and mixed until there are no solids.
    • Add the remain 1/3 of powder A
  • FIRST LAYER OF MID-WATERPROOFING, APPLICATION OF ECOCRETE, APPLICATION OF Ecorooffabric, SECOND LAYER OF MID-WATERPROOFING, APPLICATION OF ECOLASTIC
  • Use brush or roller to apply 1 or 2 layers
  • (1.0kg/m2- drying time 2 ~ 4 hours).
  • Before drying, while still moist, apply the EcoRooffabric
  • (A minimum of 10cm should overlap).
  • Stretch out EcoRooffabric and apply the 2nd layer of the mid-waterproofing
  • (2.2kg/m2 - drying time 2~3 hours).
    Check if Ecorooffabric is well adhered.
  • APPLICATION OF UPPER LAYER OF ECOLASTIC
    • Use brush or roller to apply Ecolastic (1.0kg/m2).
    • Check if Ecolastic is perfectly applied.

  • Reservoir walls and floors.
  • Basement floors, walls, bathrooms, balconies.
  • Plumbing system waterproofing, concrete box culvert, pc pipes.
  • Concrete panels, any concrete surfaces exposed to high humidity.
  • Rooftop landscaping, swimming pools, reservoirs, water tanks.
  • Any lower layer waterproofing.
